Albatross Golf Holidays & Events was founded in 2018 by PGA Professionals- Andy and Martyn, driven by a shared vision to deliver unrivalled golf events and tournaments at some of the world’s finest courses and resorts. With years of professional expertise and a deep-rooted passion for the game, they built a reputation for creating unforgettable golfing experiences. In March 2023, Albatross evolved into a full service an licensed golf holiday company offering expertly curated trips to the most iconic and desirable golfing destinations across the globe.

As the owner of Albatross Golf Holidays & Events, Andrew has vast expertise in golf operations and events, shaped by his tenure at Close House Golf Club in Newcastle. He is a certified PGA Professional since 2014. Following his qualification, Andrew expanded his coaching clientele at Close House and later transitioned towards his playing career where he competed on various development tours and played in high level Pro-Am Tournaments for numerous years around the world.
With a lifelong passion for golf and over 15 years of experience in luxury travel and event planning, Andrew founded Albatross Golf Holidays & Events to create unforgettable golf experiences with a personal touch. This vision, expertise and dedication to excellence are at the heart of every holiday and event we deliver. Andrew is constantly implementing new ideas, technology, building a fantastic team and moreover ensuring that the highest level of service is provided to all our clients.
Martyn Jobling
Director
Martyn brings exceptional industry knowledge and a deep passion for the game to the team. A qualified PGA Professional since 2015, Martyn has a background in golf operations, coaching and event management. With a wealth of teaching experience, he has led several tuition breaks for golfers of all abilities, particularly with clubs based in the North East of England.
A winner of multiple local Pro-Am competitions and the prestigious National PGA Fourball Championship in 2017, Martyn combines his playing experience with a talent for organising seamless golf holidays, Pro-Am competitions and corporate golf days. Maryn is an exceptional host and you can look forward to seeing him at a variety of our golf events on our schedule.
Joanne
Sales & Administrator Executive
Joanne joined Albatross Golf Holidays & Events in May 2025 and quickly became an integral part of the team. In her role, she not only supports clients throughout the booking process but is involved in the day-to-day operations within the business. Known for her super organised approach and attention to detail, Joanne ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while delivering excellent service to our clients. Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time at the gym, playing golf and going on long walks.

Accounts & Finance
Alison who is also a keen golfer, oversees all aspects of accounts and finance at Albatross Golf Holidays & Events, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. With a sharp eye for detail and a strong financial background, she plays a key role in keeping the business efficient, organised and client focused
