Albatross Golf Holidays & Events was established in 2018 by two PGA qualified Professionals, Andy and Martyn. Our aim is, and always has been to host unrivalled golf holidays, events and tournaments at some of the finest golf courses and resorts around the world. We utilise our professional expertise and knowledge to create unbelievable experiences at the world’s top golfing destinations. Our holidays and events deliver golf experiences and enjoyment beyond your imagination, crafted and selected by our knowledgeable team of golf enthusiasts and professionals at courses and resorts you could only dream of playing.

Andrew Scrimshaw
Director
As the co-owner of Albatross Golf Holidays & Events, Andrew leverages his vast expertise in golf operations and events, shaped by his tenure at Close House Golf Club in Newcastle. He embarked on his PGA training journey in 2011 and emerged as a certified PGA Professional by 2014. Following his qualification, Andrew expanded his coaching clientele at Close House, later transitioning towards his playing career while maintaining his professional ties with Close House. Andrew is swiftly climbing the Alps Tour rankings, committed to reaching the pinnacle of professional golf. Andrew has the advantage of experiencing various tournaments and Pro-Am competitions around the world and is constantly implementing new ideas, technology and moreover ensures that the highest level of service is provided to all our clients.
Martyn Jobling
Director
Martyn, also the co-owner of Albatross Golf Holidays & Events, embarked on his PGA training in 2011, earning his PGA Professional title in 2015. Armed with extensive experience in management, golf operations, and golf events. With nine years of teaching experience,
Martyn has hosted several highly praised tuition breaks for members from various North East-based Golf Clubs, praised for his clear and effective advice suitable for all golfers. Martyn, a winner of numerous Local Pro-Am Competitions and the esteemed National PGA Fourballs Championship in 2017 and having previously served as a PGA professional at Morpeth Golf Club, organizing Pro-Am competitions and corporate golf days he is committed to crafting remarkable golf experiences for every client.
